Founding Father

Joseph J. Fabrizio is the founding father of the firm first establishing his specialized areas of practice in 1972 which included general litigation as well as representation of banks and lenders throughout the State of Michigan and across the country. He has maintained a diversified practice with expertise representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of consumer and commercial lending, inventory financing and secured transactions as well as representation of clients in extensive civil rights actions, class actions and complex trade/antitrust cases. He currently serves as a Mediator for Michigan’s Attorney Grievance Commission and is a Case Evaluator and Sustaining Member of the Oakland County Bar Association.

Joe Fabrizio is married with two sons, two daughters and ten grandchildren. His daughter Rose Marie Brook is the President and Managing Partner of the firm and his son Joe Fabrizio has been serving as Judge of the 52-2nd District Court since 2008. His daughter, Mary Zaryczny, is also a practicing attorney and shareholder of Fabrizio & Brook. His oldest son, Patrick Fabrizio, is a radiation oncologist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Joe is an active alumni of The University of Detroit-Mercy’s Jesuit High School; he is an instrument rated pilot and Director of the Walled Lake Flying Club based out of Oakland International Airport, and an active musician and Director of the Clarkston Conservatory of Music.
